At Caroline's Pampered Pet Motel we offer:
Each room is vacuumed and mopped each day and then "deep cleaned" after a pet checks out. All rooms have comfortable air conditioning and heating just like home. In addition, all pets enjoy soft soothing music 24-hours a day. TV is available by request. The rooms are yours to fill with things from home, like beds, blankets, and crates to toys and chew things. Having their favorite things or something with your smell on it will help remind them of you. It is just whatever that would ease your mind and help your pet feel better. The rooms are big and can accommodate however much you decide to bring. If you choose not to, that's fine. We have all the comforts like home to put in their room.
Our huge indoor play area is heated and air conditioned for the dogs enjoyment and well being. The dogs can also play under the covered outdoor play area. Rain, sun, or any weather, we have a great environment for them to romp in. Playing and running around can be hard work and we want to make sure all dogs are kept safe and comfortable. All fencing is buried in concrete so there is no digging out to the other side. In addition, the outer perimeter fencing is secure so no dog can climb over.
As you know, the group playtime is one of our best features here. Dogs get to socialize and do all the dog things they do best. But rest assured, we are always with them at all times and will never leave them unattended. Our presence provides them with calmness and security and allows them to play more freely. The playtime is from 6:30 am to 9:00pm, 7 days a week, with two nap times to eat and rest. Wow-that's a lot! if your dog is not fixed, that is ok. We will make the necessary adjustments and see about group playtime. If your dog is unsocial, that is ok. Your pet still gets all the attention from us and the same amount of playtime in our play area but just not in our play groups. We love on and show affection to every single dog here. Some are more needy, some are more playful. It just depends on your pet. And best of all, NO pre-screening of your pet. We except your dog as is.
We highly recommend that you bring the same food your pet is used to eating including treats and goodies. A change in diet can cause an upset tummy and lots of discomfort. There is a refrigerator and freezer at your convenience, all with no extra cost. We will cater to your whim whether it be ground hamburger, chicken, wet food, dry food - it doesn't matter. Now for the ones who have pets who will eat anything and you don't want to fool with packing all that, we do have food to provide. And for a special treat, we give out a tasty snack at bedtime.
As for medications for the pets that need it, don't worry! We will administer pills, powder, liquids and even insulin shots for no additional fee.
When you pick up your pet, you will be given its "Report Card." This report card will tell you everything about your pet while staying with us: How much food and water it consumed each day; the condition of its stool; blood in its urine or stool; and if there were any parasites observed. Also, it will state if there were any problems with your pet.
Our Cattery is a "closed environment" meaning that the room is away from any other animals and is virtually sound proof except for the soothing sound of the TV which plays for 24 hours a day. Our cat condos are like a duplex with the living quarters in one room and the litter box in another. The cats get individual playtime with us and are allowed to roam the room at intervals for exercise.
Need to get away for the day? Or for those pets who are too rambunctious or can't be left at home while you are at work, bring them in for daycare and we will give them an exciting day with friends so you can have a peace of mind.
Some more tidbits about Caroline's Pampered Pet Motel:
- We also provide residential care for your pets whose owners can no longer care for them.
- While boarding with us, we can give a bath for "on the way home" at a modest charge.
No pet will be boarded without it having received its necessary vaccinations. Because it requires time for a vaccine to immunize in its blood, we urge all owners to vaccinate at least ten days prior to their boarding date. We will need to verify this with your veterinarian.
